Cholesterol HDL, LDL, Triglycerides Ratio Calculator

My blood cholesterol ratio calculator has been extremely popular, and now a real doctor has asked me to modify it to be more accurate. No, it is not my own brother (who happens to be a cardiologist) but some random guy on the internet who had some nice sources to back up his request. Since many people already know all their measured values, you just enter them here and I will calculate all the ratios. Now I use the LDL over HDL ratio instead of the HDL/LDL ratio I used before since he said that is more commonly used (and he should know better than I do!)

Enter all four of the following numbers and the calculator will find all the ratios, and then it will tell you the ratios and how good they are. You can read the article from the American Heart Association on desired levels here. A good article on LDL/HDL ratios can be found here. The article on triglycerides over HDL ratio is here.

Total Cholesterol mg/dL
HDL (High density lipoprotein) mg/dL
LDL (Low density lipoprotein) mg/dL
Triglycerides mg/dL
